Carpel Tunnel this early!?

Question

I got it with my last pregnancy but I didn’t start until week 30 or something. Well my right hand has started and I’m only 11 almost 12 weeks! Finger tips tingle, I wake up to my middle, ring and pink finger completely numb and when I’m on my phone my fingers start to go numb. Anyone else experiencing it this early? Guess I’ll need to pick up a brace :/ I hope I can open jars as the pregnancy progresses. That was a major issue last time :(

Oh my goodness its really strange you are mentioning this because I’m getting pins and needles in my thumb and index finger often and it’s only been since I was pregnant about 8 weeks. I’m a violin teacher so thought it could be that but I actually did some research and found out carpel tunnel seems to be common during pregnancy?! It’s so weird!!

It's funny you mention this. This is my third pregnancy and I have never had that problem or even heard of that being a problem in prgenancy. I have been having carpal tunnel in my right hand for a few weeks now. I was talking about it at work and the girl said it was probably from pregnancy. It's awful. Very painful.
