Anyone try the pencil test?

My family swears by this, what you do is take a pencil that has a point, thread a needle and put the sharp point in the eraser. (It is easier to have someone else do it on you due to having a steadier hand) hold by the string over the belly and if the point goes into a circle, the sex is said to be a girl opposite if the point goes to a line. This is just an old wives tale im told but still kinda neat. My first pregnancy came out a girl with the pencil test being correct and this pregnancy is saying a boy.. Hopefully this wont jinx anything!
