Burning nipples! HELP!

I’m 11 weeks pregnant and for the last couple days my nipples (mainly the left) hurt I mean burn and throbs it’s excruciating pain. Very uncomfortable! Idk what to do I called my doc and she said “it’s normal it will go away”

BUT WHEN? It hurts I just want to hold/cup all day long. The pain has been all day for the last 3-4 days.

What do you ladies recommend? Or anyone else having this problem!
