My boyfriends family still has family photos with his ex???

I'm pregnant with his kid... what should I do? His SIL will most likely not want to take new pictures because she likes his ex. And his ex loooooves to rub that in my face because she is still madly in live with him after a year and a half.... ugh what do I do?

Take your own photos. You aren't dating his sister, so it's not up to her if you have family photos or not. If she wants to have a family photo with a girl who at this point should be practically a random stranger, let her. As for the ex rubbing it in your face, that's simple too. Next time she says something, respond with something along the lines of 'I know my child's aunt likes you, but my baby's father loves me and is going to help me raise this precious bundle. So have fun with his sister.'

Take the high road and let them talk. They're showing the kind of women they are by treating you that way.  But if it really bothers you talk to your BF, he should talk to his sister and hopefully shell understand.

I had the same issue when I met my now husband and eventually I told him it bothered me so he took the pictures off his parents wall and replaced them with ones of us.:)

I have photos of my ex, most of them actually. I don't drag them out and stare at them but they're in a box somewhere. They were a part of your life, you grew from the relationship, you are who you are in your current relationship because of past learning experiences with others. One of my exes died and I like to remember him. He was a nice guy, wonderful actually. Just wasn't the right guy for me. His ex is jealous and you should just laugh at her. She won't ever have him, he's yours. Boo on her.

Opinions about this could go lots of ways.. I'm still real close with my ex-husbands family, but they don't have pics of me everywhere.. I'm sure his current wife doesn't want that in her face all the time (not that I care, but I get it).. It's a slap in the face, especially if they know it bothers you and pleasures her! You are not dating His sister. Own your throne. Dont make the pics an issue, but take your own. You have him, shes only flaunting memories and not her current reality. Dont pay this anymore attention amd watch it dissipate.

My husbands parents had a family photo of my husband his ex and their kids...she put up ones of us we gave her as well but I was upset that she would still have that picture up..they hadn't been together for years and one day my husband hid the photo. Problem solved temporarily.

I gave my husband a time limit to get them Out of my house, he played no attention. I set them on fire. There is still pictures hanging in his mom's house which make me wanna snap and kill somebody but it's not my house so I just try && ignore it.
