Eyelashes c-section?

Can you have fake eyelashes done if you are having a c-section? I’ve been told no fake nails or nail polish... but I’d like to redo my lashes soon but I’m due to have baby and don’t know if I should wait...

I never had a c section but I see tons of women who had emergency ones, I doubt they stopped to remove fake nails or eyelashes.  That seems excessive.

My hospital had no restrictions with that. The only restriction I had was absolutely no jewelry which included my wedding set, earrings and necklace so I was sure to leave them home locked. Otherwise I went into surgery like a rockstar, my nails were definitely painted, both toes and fingers. I had light makeup on including foundation, light eyeshadow, and mascara. I also went and got a blowout the day before. I might have been a little extra but I figured this was probably the last day for a long time I would have to take care of myself and to me it was worth it. Our rolling down the hallway to the OR selfie was spot on.

They like to have your nails clear of polish or fake nails because they use the color to check blood flow to hands and feet just like they do when you have any surgery of course they dont have time to take it all off for an emergency but I'd keep them clean of all of that it's for your benefit. The lashes I dont see being a problem at all.

Yes you can. If you had a weave you would not be made to remove it. The nail polish is because of reading your oxygen levels.

I know some oxygen sensors  get clipped to fingertips, maybe the nail polish off fake nails interfere with the reading?

I think they use nails to check for blood flow because of the pink when you push on your nail.. eyelashes are fine ☺️ enjoy them!!

I was wearing makeup and my toes where done. I dont think it’s an issue. Also no one told me of things that weren’t allowed. I had a scheduled C section
