I hope you can help me, I went for my midwife appt today and she said I have jumped from the 50th percentile to the 90th percentile since my last appt three weeks ago which she says is a big growth spurt and I need to go for a growth scan.

What does this mean? So nervous. She said baby is 34cm and I am 34weeks +2 days, which I read is normal so I’m not sure what the percentile part means and why she’s worried and referred me for a growth scan. I hope you can help?!
