Would you buy your daughter sanitary pads

Just curious because I’ve been on my period since I was 12 and I was never baught any sanitary towels by my family they never even told me about periods I learned it all from school and other girls. I would ask for money to buy them I wouldn’t tell them it was for that because I was embarrassed but they never gave me any money so I was using toilet paper for years
