Managing endo - suggestions please
I have endometriosis, adenomyosis and polycystic ovaries so had huge difficulties getting pregnant and ended up needing IVF to conceive. We're now lucky to have a 4 month old. For a few reasons we're not wanting to get pregnant any time soon, although it was the advice of our dr to go straight back for number 2. The pain I get each month is horrible and as much as I really don't want to, I need to go on something to manage my pain / symptoms. I really don't want to do anything that could make our chances of getting pregnant again worse than they already are. There's been the suggestion of a mirena or low dose pill as the best options to protect whatever fertility I do have. Although the mirena Wong do anything to manage the ovulation pains I get that last almost a week. Has anyone else got these issues? What do you do to manage it?
