Painful knot in leg

There is a very painful knot from the middle of my pubic areas to the upper part of my inner thigh it is hard swollen and so painful it hurts even for my underwear to touch it. I’m not able to go to the doctor until next week. Does anyone have any tips to help the pain or idea what it could be. I’ve had it for a week.
