First of: I’m sorry if I posted this in the wrong community.

I’m planning on moving out of my parents house. We are a very close family and mum says that she wants to provide for me till whenever. The problem is; recently, I had an argument with my dad and he ended up telling the ‘my house, my rules’ line. When I talked to my mum she said that I should just brush it off but I feel like my dad looses respect for me as the days go by. He and I are very close but that argument told me a lot about what he thinks of me and now I really want to get out.

Second problem, this makes me more hesitant to make the call. My mum recently gave birth to a baby boy and I have another brother who is 7. I want to wait till the baby is at least 2 when my brother can help take care of him. What do y’all think? At what age did you move out? Do you regret moving out?
