One vs two embryos for FET
Hello ladies,
My husband and I are trying to decide to transfer between one embryo versus two embryos for frozen embryo transfer.
My fertility specialist is advising one embryo transfer at a time. We Were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We did 4 rounds of
IUI with no success.
I am 30 years old, with no health issues, regular menstural cycles, normal labs , husband has excellent sperm. We had a total of four high quality embryos.
The reason why my fertility specialist is advising one embryo is because of the risk of multiples ( preterm , birth defects , etc). He is saying since I am young and have good quality embryos we should only do one embryo .
I don’t know what the right decision is. How did you ladies decide between one or two embryos to transfer .
Also, if you transferred two, did they both stick? How was your pregnancy ? Preterm labor? Etc .
