Is bad I might reject my promise ring?

I love my bf a lot. He means the world to me. He taking me out this Sunday cause we are celebrating our year anniversary. I believe he getting me a promise ring because my friend said he saw him looking at the rights the other day. However, our relationship isn’t soo good right now and we are having some issue. I have told him How I felt and everything. But imma feel bad if did get me a promise ring. I’m not even sure if I would want take or not.

Honestly if you want to be with him accept it it's only a promise ring not an engagement ring it may end up making things more rocky

You can always break promises tbh, it's not an engagement ring and if you reject it it might make things worse with you two. But if you don't see a future with him, then I would just call the whole thing off

promise rings can cause trouble if you’re not absolutely sure. i got one in my last relationship and a year later he told me he never meant it, only gave it to me so i wouldn’t get mad 🙃 i’ve never felt that type of pain before. we broke up a year later and now i’m engaged to someone else! although i received a promise ring from him, but i knew it was the right thing

You’re your own person, you should never feel obligated in a relationship. Feeling pressured or supposed to do things in my relationships made toxic ones last far too long. I’m not saying yours is that terrible, but it’s important to respect yourself and communicate instead of following expectations.
