Pumping question

So my baby is 5 weeks old and we tried to get her to latch correctly for a while. She just won’t so I’m exclusively pumping and then using a bottle. I pump every 3 hours. But my boobs stay so sore, and hot and feel like pins and needles all the time and never really feel all the way empty no matter how long I pump. I have an evenflo breast pump that I use. I’m just wondering if anyone had any advice or if it’s just my pump isn’t a good brand? Help! Being in constant pain 24/7 is making me want to quit.
