Question

Tips on breastfeeding, benefits, easier than bottles or harder? I’m debating on breastfeeding or formula. Tips/advice would be helpful! 💖

I exclusively breast fed all my kids because it was cheaper for us. I did try pumping for bottles because I had an over production of milk supply but my. Kiddos never took it and with my first I tried to go back to work so he was fussy all day from trying to take a bottle and had nipple confusion. 
I was so overwhelmed and stressed about it that night my husband and I decided for me to stay at home. 
Each baby, mama and situation is different do what is best for you and your baby. I will always support and encourage breastfeeding or pumping but I know some can’t or it’s not ideal for them so support for a healthy baby is what is important.

My story: I pumped for 3 months then hung up the towel (or should say flanges) and went to formula because it was effectively driving me nuts. Obsessing over every ounce, being in pain because pumps don't work well on me for this and that reason, having crazy mood and PPD swings due to the hormones, just madness. I felt like I couldn't actually enjoy my son, so I quit, went formula and never looked back. There was guilt, but for what? He's a happy, healthy, 1 year old.

I would personally only go formalise if I wasn’t producing enough Brest milk. It’s free, its natural, if you co-sleep and baby wakes up in the middle of the night, you only have to roll over and pop a tit to get it back to sleep instead of getting up and making a bottle.  Neg: can be painful, your boobs gets super hard and sore when they get full, yiu have to pump milk if you’re leaving baby with someone else.
