Work? Venting

How is everyone’s work like handling you being pregnant? I work in a chemical plant and I have a lot of concerns and I feel like to them I’m just a number on the payroll I have asked the plant nurse and environmental for any kinds of concerns or places in the plant I need to stay away from have gotten no responses but congrats and let us know when you leave for maternity leave?!? I called in sick one day because there was some chemicals I didn’t wanna work around or feel safe around and now I’m getting in trouble for the call in we’re only allowed 3 a year and since I called in that day it counts as 2! Luckily I haven’t had any morning sickness or any other reasons to call in but I’m getting a little frustrated cause I feel like if they fire me for calling in one more time I’m going to be very upset! It’s not like I don’t have a good reason! And I’ve voiced my concerns to everyone I can think of and everyone just points me to someone else and I’m getting nowhere! I just don’t wanna work in an area where I’m putting me and my baby at risk, I think they haven’t ever had anyone pregnant in my job field so they don’t really know what to do. Ugh
