2nd baby - what to plan?

Any mamas with 2+ kiddos? We have an almost 2 yr old and grandpa on standby for when we go into labor, but what else do we need to prep for him? Any lists that were helpful? What do you wish you had planned for? Any tips for prepping older brother for our hospital stay would be helpful!

When we had our second we just explained what was happening. Bought a big brother shirt for him to wear and read a couple of books. He was so excited! Now pregnant with my third and they couldn’t be more excited!

Thanks, all! But what about things to prep grandpa for? I know I’ll also need to make sure he’s on the emergency list for daycare and knows how to pick up/drop off, but what else am I not thinking of?

My son is 3.5 yrs and I’ve got both my MIL and mum coming to stay for 2 weeks each around my hubby’s paternity leave but my son has autism so he needs special help and his routine maintained. I’ve got a change of clothes/nappies and snacks packed in my hospital bag for him in case I go into labor earlier than expected because we live 4hrs from family but if I do go into labor in the middle of the night I’ll most like just take myself up to the hospital and hubby can stay with our son at home.

My MIL has offered to take my almost 2 year old when we go in the day of the planned c section. Hubby will go pick him up later that day. I will likely have to stay in the hospital for 3 days and nights so hubby will stay at home with our son and I will stay in the hospital with the baby

This is my second baby. With my first (4) I’m packing an overnight bag with her favourite stuffie and her big sister shirt for coming home and she’s spending the night/ day with grandma and grandpa.

I'm due in NOV, my mom will be flying out for planned c/s once I get the date... if plan backfires, my in-laws are down the road.

When we had our second my oldest stayed with my husbands cousin, but he was also 8 years old. Now we have two kids a 10 (about to be 11) year old and a 2 year old.. I have no idea who’s going to take our kids when our third baby comes.
