Nsw mums that have had c sections ????

Any mums that have had c section Iv got Placenta previa and gonna be having my first c section at Liverpool hospital what were your experiences?

I had a Caesarian with my first and am going to opt for it for my 2nd. It’s honestly ok you will feel in pain for a few days but that is dulled by the ecstasy of seeing your little one. Recovery is better when you take it easy and have a supportive partner or family around x

If you are due in Feb is there not still plenty of time for your placenta to move up. I was told 80 percent of women's placentas resolve as the womb grows?

This will be my 3rd & last. Best advice- is try to keep yourself open-minded when it comes to recovery. Every pregnancy & birth is different. Cs are an entirely different type of event. Its major surgery, and thus requires a longer healing time. It can become a lot to handle with hormones postpartum. The best health & safety for your lil is absolutely worth it though.

I had a c section with my first because she was breech. I didn’t have any issues. The spinal doesn’t hurt, you get a catheter but they put it in after you’re numb and you’ll experience some pressure and weird moving around feelings as they pull baby out. You also might shake really bad afterwards from the medicine leaving your body. None of that is that bad though. You’ll be fine! I might have another c section with this babe due to high blood pressure. One thing I wish I would’ve known last time is to bring super high waisted pants to hold your stomach in because your muscles are going to feel like jelly and it’ll hurt to laugh or cough.

I had a c-section with my first because my cervix was not progressing and my son showed signs of distress. The spinal did not hurt and worked as intended. I had no issues with my recovery at all.
