I also know my anxiety is sky-high in a hospital setting. My mom was in a coma for three weeks when I was a teenager. It’s a place for medical emergencies and birth isn’t that. At all. It’s a natural biological process that has only been medicalized in the last 150 years or so. And you bet I’m not going to be pressured by doctor into doing anything I don’t think is right for me and my baby.

Yep! All natural, too, at an awesome midwife-run birthing center close to my house. I despise hospitals and think medical birthing practices are far too invasive when they generally don’t need to be.

Nope. Didn’t with my daughter and did fine, all natural. Don’t feel the need to.

Are any of you doing online courses for it?  If so,  which one?  I'm looking into it now.  There are in person classes somewhat near me but they're about an hour away by train,  and I think the online ones are cheaper too. Any recommendations would be much appreciated :)
