Can I walk that far?

Hello! 
I had my baby boy by Csection on September 9th.  I'd like to take a walk to a local establishment. It is about a half mile away. Should I be okay to walk there?

In my opinion it depends. How hot it is, if it’s too cold. Make sure you feed your baby before you leave, TAKE IT SLOW...make sure you’re comfortable, consider that if you’re really tired you’ll have to walk back soon. I didn’t even drive until I was cleared by my dr. I would take small walks but only with my husband with me. Trust your body xo good luck

I walked to our nearby park 6 days post c section. It felt great to be out, but I need a long rest after! But, the next day I did the same distance no problem and wasnt totally exhausted after. Trust your body.

I was walking 4 days after my section...mind you I could only go about 100 meters...but I built up from there...walk until your body tells you it’s had enough..that’s the best way to heal! Take it reeeeal slow and go until your body tells you it’s had enough☺️

If you feel up to it, absolutely. Walking actually helps tremendously after having a C-Section. The nurses made me walk around the L&D floor multiple times the day after mine.

Yes, just take it slow and if you feel any pain take a break! Drink lots of water and seriously take it slow
