New Long Distance Relationship

So this is just a post to ask for advice/ideas/support

My boyfriend just left to college 4 days ago and I’m in my senior year of high school. We’re only 4 months apart so don’t worry. His college is over 450 miles away from me. I’m visiting him for 2 days in 3 weeks but that already feels like forever from now. After that I won’t see him for 2 months. We’re committed to each other and making the relationship work and we were very clear what we need to do before he left. We said that we need to FaceTime at least once a week, text at least once a day with a summary of what happened that day (if we can’t text more often) or if we can’t even do that we have to let each other know before that we’ll be busy all day. I know that we can have movie dates using an app that allows screensplitting but other than that I don’t know what to do. I miss him so much and although I completely understand that he’s busy it sucks not being able to see or talk to him throughout the day. It’s making me hate high school when all I want to do is graduate and start college (I won’t be with him right away it’ll take about a year or two before I can transfer to his college). What are some ways to keep the relationship alive and happy?
