Thrift store clothes

Recently bought clothing from this app online where people sell old clothing and I got some great deals. What do you do to get their smell out of the clothing also what do you do when you first get the clothing!? Thank you. Right now I have it soaking In sobs white vinegar, hot water and soap because me washing it twice didn’t help. Could’ve been my washer setting I had it on
