I find it disrespectful only because of how she goes about things with this ex. I sat in my mil living room with this girl with no introduction at all. I knew I recognized her but couldn't figure it how. She then gets up to leave and says she should go before my husband got back from work. My mil always brings this girl up any time my husband and I have the smallest argument. Invites her over all the time and takes her out to eat. Most conversations between them revolve around my husband. I find it entertaining now though. Any time my mil brings up this girl to him he tells her he doesn't care, didn't want to hear about her. That he is happily married and there is no end in sight. If she wants to talk about him to her she can tell him that haha.

Im in the opposite problem my mom and brother are still friends with my ex and my hubby gets bother by it, cause he feels they still want me with him and I agree with him is weird I know me and my ex were together for 8 long years and it seems my family was more attached to him than me, they always bring him up in conversations and telling me stuff but I seriously could care less, funny thing tho when I was with my ex my mom kept telling I wasn't happy with him and he wasn't good for me so idk moms I guess.
