Menstrual like cramps normal throughout pregnancy?

Morning, is anyone else experiencing menstrual like cramps at least once a month throughout their pregnancy? I know early in pregnancy it may be due to implantation, but is it normal to continue throughout duration of pregnancy? 
I’m wondering if it is my body still thinking I should be having a period? I’m 18weeks. Thanks for any insight

I had this last week. I described them same way - like menstrual cramps. I went to doc and all was well. I think it's my uterus stretching and also I found out baby is low so maybe he/she is down there putting pressure.

i have this all the time and it freaks me out. it goes away but its still really scary bc i’ve had a miscarriage

totally normal.. every so often your round ligament and your uterus and everything else stretches and it causes the feeling of menstrual cramps. it's totally normal and will happen more, try sitting in a warm bath when they happen it helps
