Just wondering if anyone else's child gets red like this after eating any sauces? I'm thinking vinegar sensitivity, he doesnt complain that it hurts ever, it goes away after a little bit, just curious if anyone else has the same experience?

Vinegar is acidic, and can irritate the skin. Same thing with tomatoes, citrus fruits, etc.

My daughter has that happen when she eats cinnamon. Her Pediatrician recommended avoiding what causes the redness and then trying to introduce it after 6 months. If the reaction persists he recommended seeing an allergist.

Yes mine were like that when they were babies. Anything acidic did it. They grew out of it. Baby skin is just more sensitive.

My son occasionally has the same reaction from tomato based sauces. It goes away after I rinse him off really well in a bath. Most of the time he is fine when he its them though. He has never had any respiratory reaction and it doesn’t bother him so I don’t get to concerned.
