Fertile cm or semen? ***TMI***

My boyfriend and I did the deed two days ago. He finished in me and I went to the bathroom as normal then got a shower. I cleaned thoroughly. Well, today (2 days later) I thought I had started my period because I felt what I though was blood..I went to the bathroom and no blood. But a good amount of something slippery and white. This has never happened before and we’ve been trying for a year now..My question is can there be extra semen that drips out a few days later?
