Is my birth control working??

EDITED FOR CONFUSION. I’ve been on my pill for a year and a half and recently it’s been giving me some weird side effects that it never has before like spotting, more discharge, breast pain etc . I can’t get to the doctor until next month, but does this stuff mean that my pill isn’t working and it’ll be easier for me to get pregnant? No I’m not already pregnant, lol I took a test and I’ve had a heavy withdrawl bleed since the last time. And my breast pain is sharp pain near my armpits that comes and goes. Not a tenderness and soreness.
