So I have been off birth control for one year, and actively trying for a baby for three months. Since coming off birth control, my cycles have been pretty consistent at 27-31 days. My periods have been VERY VERY heavy and last about 7 days. I also have VERY VERY severe cramping for at least 2 of those days. I've had troubles with constipation and baaaad bloating for years, and often have painful bowel movements. Does it sound like I may have endometriosis?

Also... a couple of months ago my cramps were so bad I thought I had a cyst or something, so i went in to emergency. They did an internal vaginal ultrasound and everything checked out normal. If i did have endometriosis.. could they have diagnosed this with the ultrasound?
