Sorry for stupid question

Having sex every second day does that mean if tonight we bed (25.9.18) then on 28.9.18 we bed again?

We are heading into 7month ttc and last month we did every other day and not pregnant. Has anyone done it every 2-3days straight after AF and conceived?
