Did you have a boy or girl in the NICU?

My son is in the NICU and I've noticed there are mostly boys in there.

I worked in a hospital for a few years and any time we had a early baby coming the first question everyone asked was is it a boy or girl. I finally asked one of the doctors one day why it mattered and they said for some reason girls do better than boys with breathing when they come early

I have both in the nicu. I was told white boys have the hardest time in the nicu
