A little over a week ago I was told I had a low laying placenta which needed to be followed up around 28 weeks. Put on pelvic rest for 8 weeks. It's been a week since and I went to the bathroom today (had a normal bowel movement) and when I wiped I noticed blood (vaginal) bright red like a period. We rushed to the ER, terrified. Blood with a low laying placenta was scary! They set me up to an iv, took blood work and did a ultrasound (abdominal and transvaginal) and could not find the cause for my bleed! They sent me home because the baby looked fine as did my placenta and cervix. They even said my placenta was starting to go up right. Still no answer for the bleed. Now I'm just nervous and paranoid.
