Should I tell him?

I’ve had a crush on the same guy in band since freshman year and I know he’s pretty much out of my league and I don’t know if our personalities will fit because he’s super political, confident, and sure of himself whereas I’m shy, unsure of everything, and very passive (sometimes assertive or aggressive if I’m in a bad mood or pushed too far) and I’m insecure. We don’t talk much because of my shyness, but he is very nice to me even after I quit marching. I feel like he caught onto my feelings and is a little weird around me now and he’s about to graduate and I’m still a junior. How can I stop these feelings? Or should I just get my crap together and tell him?
