Stocking up on baby things?

Question

I am trying to concieve and I have been for 10 months. Is it bad to get  baby things even though I'm not pregnant?

​I was at the check out the other day with wipes and diapers and the guy asked how old my baby was and I told him I didn't have a baby. And he said, 'why do you need diapers and wipes if you don't have a baby?' It mad me a little mad.

​Has anyone else not pregnant bought baby things?

we have practicly a whole nursery now evn down 2 sum clothes in draws cot made up jus 2 do another coat on th walls put th stickers and boarder up then hopfully my BFP will come. TTC 12months also...

Personally I wouldn't but there's nothing wrong with it, if that's what you want to do. I just couldnt walk past that room everyday knowing we had no baby to use those things. Too heartbreaking. But that's just me... Baby dust to you xx

We started on the nursery around 3mo ttc...we are 10mo ttc as of this month. We currently have:

​- crib bedding
​- curtains
​- wall art
​
​So nothing crazy, but little art projects help keep me distracted during the TWW.
