I just found out from another dr in my office that my dr (she was out of town) is leaving in December. They also said they don’t have a replacement for her so I would have to go to another clinic! I know it’s a few months away but around here the good OB’s are backed up for months. Many won’t even take patients unless they are at the beginning of their pregnancy. I’m freaking out a little and a bit frustrated that I didn’t hear it from her. I totally understand wanting to get married and move but the way this dr said it I could tell she’s known for a long time and hasn’t been telling her patients. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it difficult to find another OB? Did you feel comfortable switching to another dr halfway through your pregnancy?
