First period with diva cup!

So just started my period today and haven't had any issues with the cuo so far! (super proud of no leakage all day 😂) but both times removing it so far, I've noticed like a string of gooey discharge just hanging there.. like ovulation discharge but bloody.. is this normal or no? I've never experienced this with tampons

You’ve probably never experienced it with the tampons because the tampon would absorb your natural lubricant along with everything else. The cup doesn’t do that so you’re probably just seeing what really is happening down there when your lining sheds.

Someone suggested to me having a piece of toilet paper ready to wipe that so that’s what I do. It reminds me of when I used pads and pulled my pants down and that would happen.

Omg EVERY damn time!!! Its normal and annoying but uts managable and it gets easier to deal with the "hanging" when youre used to it.
