I know this is way too TMI, but this might help some of you experiencing this without knowing. I haven't had my period for three weeks or a month, but for some reason since it ended I've been seeing dark brown discharge, or what I thought was old blood at the time. Everyday I was wearing a tampon because otherwise my underwear would get stained and there would be a funky smell to my underwear. Today, I ate chili and as you probably know it makes u have to poop.( this is where the story gets pretty gross) So I was a little constipated and was trying to push my feces out for a few mins but in that time, out of nowhere a noticed something literally FELL OUT OF MY VAGINA! I looked at it and was so grossed out. At first I had no idea what it was because it was slimy and yellow with gray all over it and looked like a deformed (clearly discolored) tampon, but I noticed I still had a tampon in so it couldn't have been a tampon. Low and behold the one that was still in was from today and the nasty thing in the toilet was a months old tampon!!! I still am not sure of what the yellow slimy stuff is. I think it's either discharge or bacteria growing on it. Anyway, u grabbed a q-tip and while the old tampon was still in the toilet I used the it to look at it better. The string was lodged into the tampon and whenever I used the q-tip, the yellow slime came off immediately . I researched it more and it said that it was probably lodged in my cervix with no visible string or anything to reach for. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of anything close to similar to my tampon but probably to protect the world from seeing how gross it is 😬😂 let me know if anyone has had a similar situation 🙂
