Boric acid???

So I started my boric acid suppositories today. Nervous about it but hopefully it stops my problems. Has anyone used this for discharge? Does it work? Is there any bad side affects? Did you like it, dislike it? Please share!

I know boric acid can be used in pesticides and laundry detergent and for cleaning. Never heard of suppositories... what is it supposed to treat?
