BV or yeast infection??

So, I’ve had a yeast infection before and tested positive for one at the doctors office. I took fluconazole twice and it seemed to clear up. I’m not sure if I keep getting it back, or if it never fully clears up and it seems to be quite frequent. Or maybe I have something else with the yeast infection or it’s something different now. I know it’s rare for a male to get a yeast infection, but maybe my boyfriend should take a dosage of fluconazole with me just in case and we try that? Is it harmful if it ends up actually not being needed? I did have prenatal testing, which I tested negative for the STI portion of it, so I know it’s not that. Sometimes it seems to smell fish like which makes me feel like I have bacterial vaginosis instead. Other times, it smells more like chlorine and bleach type smells. Currently getting a bit itchy now after sitting in this discharge, or it could even be the type of underwear. I seem to be fine majority of the time, except for sexual contact. It’s hard for me to stay wet, and there seems to be a strong smell sometimes that I notice down there. Should I take more fluconazole or try a cream? Or should I maybe try something for BV this time?
