My fiancé and I are 21 and have no credit, because we’ve bought our car, rented from family, and the only bill in our name is cable/WiFi. We are hoping to put a down payment on a house the end of next year, about 15 or 20 K we have saved up. My fiancé just got a credit card with a $200 line that we plan on spending 20 a month on and paying off on time. What else can he do to establish credit? And how long would it take for us to establish a real score?
