Is your friend zone mainly based on height?

Unfortunately, yes. I know it's so shallow to not date a guy based on height, but I can't do it! One of my guy friends has had a crush on me for a year now, he's my height (5'7")... I can't. I just can't.

I'm 5'7" and not ashamed to say that I will not date someone my height or shorter not bc I'm shallow but bc I'm not attracted to it. I mean come on we all have a thing no matter what age that is a turn off for us. So call me childish all you want but I'll admit that I have things that turn me away from a guy where most won't admit it.

Well since I'm taller than my boyfriend that's an obvious "no". I don't deny anyone a date for any reason other than their personality or already being in a relationship.

I have dated taller (6'3) and shorter (5'8) and my husband is the same height as me (I'm 5'11).

What I don't understand is why someone who's barely 5 feet needs a guy over 6 feet. I mean, even a guy who is only 5'6 is going to be MUCH taller than you ... I guess it's in the hopes of tall children? ;)

I was always with guys over 6 feet until I met my hubby who is 5'9 (I'm 5'5)...so this was a yes for me until I met the right guy! Interesting how that works :)
