How do you know if your pregnant if your period is still coming on?

It would show up on a pregnancy test. Although generally, if you get your period, you are not pregnant. Some women get period-like bleeding in early pregnancy, but it is rare.

I know someone who had irregular periods and hectic lifestyle so never kept track of anything, she was gaining wait and feeling tired etc, one night she was doing her ironing, got these awful pains, thought she had appendicitis, rushed to hospital, couple hours later gave birth to a baby girl!! Didn't know she was pregnant!! Hospital had to give her a babygro for the little one!! She must have been spotting throughout and just thought it was her period!

I don't know what's normal n not normal but I had a friend that didn't realize she was pregnant for 6 whole months. There's people that have such irregular periods or cycles and they end up pregnant when it didn't seem like they were.

I have a friend who spotted the entire second pregnancy. It always scared her. She kept in constant touch with her doctor.  It does happen!
