We had the anatomy scan today! 20+1 with a baby girl. Everything looked perfect. Except for there is a tiny bit of fluid around her heart. Everything about the heart works and looks great aside from the little bit of fluid there. So we have a follow up u/s to check on it in 4 weeks. There is not fluid anywhere else so Hydrops is ruled out.

Naturally, I’m nervous. Has anyone else ever gone through this? My OB and tech didn’t seem concerned at all. Especially because of how little was there. A little over 2 mm. I could just use stories or experiences from you ladies who maybe have gone through something similar.

Again, everything else was perfect! She was measuring a few days ahead and everything was developed and working properly.

She was so active! Even had the hiccups for part of the scan. And she sure is such a cutie! 💓
