When do I call a doctor?

Got my BFP today at 9 DPO! When am I supposed to let my doctor know??

I contacted my midwives pretty much right away mostly because they’re a small home birth practice and I wanted to make sure they’d have me on their schedule! It hasn’t happened to me but I think if they already have a lot of people due at the same time they might not be able to take extra patients. I don’t have an appointment until November though.

I’m 11 days post ovulation and have tested positive. I called the doctors room and the nurse recommended booking an appointment the week of my missed period. Hope that helps 😊 congratulations too 👶🏻

I called after I took the test and went ahead and scheduled a prenatal appointment for oct 26th as I don’t have a lot of availability.

I found out 4 days until AF but I tested every single day and day of my missed period and then called to make my appointment 😁

I called mine yesterday at 13dpo after 5 tests positives on different days, and once they were dark

I called after I tested on 3 separate days and got 3 positives at 8, 9 & 10 dpo. This time I didn't even think to test until the evening before AF. I forgot to test that next morning but realized it had been many many hours since I had been to the bathroom, so I went ahead and tested around 6:30 pm and got a positive at 14 dpo. My husband is a truck driver so I arranged to meet him on Tuesday night instead of Wednesday, " so we could talk things over". We had been arguing all weekend. Little did he know I didnt want to talk but surprise him with a wrapped present of baby booties and a positive test. Needless to say he was speechless and tickled. I called my OB Wednesday morning and set up my first appointment for 2 weeks from yesterday.
