I’ve been taking the same pill for 5 months now (was previously on another type of pill, but it hurt my breasts, so I switched). The first two months I had brown spotting that turned into full on periods for a few days when I was in the middle of my active pills. I chopped it up to my body adjusting to the pill. For the next two months I had no spotting during the active pills and my body seemed adjusted. This month (pack #5 of these pills), I had brown spotting for a few days a week and a half into the pack! I take the pill at the same time every single day and have not missed any days. I called my gyno, but she’s out until Monday. Anyone experience something similar? I’m trying not to go straight to worrying about pregnancy, I feel that would be a long shot considering I’ve been taking birth control for a year and have never missed a day or taken it late, also by bf does not finish inside me. Side note: I take placebo pills so I do get my period. I know if you only take active pills spotting is normal, but with taking the placebo I shouldn’t be experiencing spotting mid-cycle.
