How to study for a biology exam?

I’ve got one coming up in a week and a half and I’m just looking for a few study ideas. Studying with adhd and no review is hard😢. So bring on the ideas!!!

Memorize, memorize, memorize. That’s all biology is. Start with flash cards and memorize all the definitions. Then, go through and memorize your PowerPoints and notes (hopefully you took notes) and if that’s not thorough enough, read and take notes from your textbook. I watched YouTube videos and took notes from them as well if there wasn’t a concept I didn’t understand that well.

I feel ur struggle 😭🤦🏻‍♀️ what has been helping me study for bio exams is to read the chapters ahead of time from ur textbook or at least reading the summary of the chapter before going to class. That way you have an idea of what topics will be covered in class. Then take notes from the powerpoints, my professor recommended us to focus on the powerpoints she makes, might be different for you. Try to study ahead of time for ur exam, and study with others if u can. I’ve been studying with my friend and it helps both of us understand the topics better.  if I don’t understand anything I watch videos on YouTube and that helps me understand the concepts better.

I’m a very creative person so I find it helpful (and kinda fun) to make “creative notes”! Rewrite them using color and diagrams and such
