Baby shower?

Any recommendations on super budget friendly baby shower venue ideas? None of our families have large houses and its gonna be cold outside! I'd like to not put a huge financial burden on my mother in law since shes planning it. We dont have large families, and we dont have a big circle of friends outside of our jobs so small and intimate setting is fine. Thank you in advance!

Do you have community halls or a church hall that would be cheap? We have a community hall that is like $50-100 to rent.

Community/rec centers, churches, libraries all usually have nice rooms you can rent for not a lot of money or free. Keep food light and the party short (no one likes long baby showers anyway, 2 hours is enough!)

Were having it in our back yard. Doing a bon fire and a hot chocolate bar. That’s about it. Lol

If anyone lives in an apartment many of them have community rooms to rent. Libraries have rooms to rent. Our neighborhood pool has a clubhouse that people rent out. Some of our local parks also have club houses that you can rent.

A friend of mine had hers at a Pizza Hut ! Which was actually super convenient and fairly cheap.

I appreciate all the ideas everyone, churches are not an option as we dont believe in religion or support the church but we will be looking into community centers. Living near Baltimore makes it hard to find a place that's clean and well kept...
