Shower Location??

Kaitlyn • Mom to one 👦🏼 two 👧🏽 and two 🐺

Not sure what to do in this situation. We're in the process of beginning our cross country move. We start the move mid December, I'm due mid February. After leaving California, we plan to spend two weeks with my mom (Arkansas), and then, two to three weeks with his family (Kentucky). While in Arkansas, I plan to have my maternity photos done, and then, hold the baby shower in Kentucky around New Years since this is his family's first granddaughter. I know it's 3 months away, but since literally everyone I want there will be coming from out of state, I plan to send invitations out by the beginning of November to give ample travel notice. I plan to also set up a Facebook event page because I got almost no text/call RSVP's for my gender reveal. Hopefully, having the event page will provide more emphasis on the need for a response.

My issue is, the venue is still being decided. We may hold it at his parents house, but it's largely going to depend on how many people RSVP. I have 64 people on the list, a few preemptively confirmed they'll be there, but I'm kind of only expecting upwards of 30 to actually attend. I want an artsy hotel space for the shower for more people, and I've already done the consultation, but I don't want to book until I can get a preliminary headcount. What do I put on the invitation with location still being decided? Do I just put the city and state? Do I put refer to the fb event page for location? I don't really know what the proper thing to do is in this situation. Help 😬😬
