All natural/medication free ( however you phrase it). 13 hrs active labor, 2nd degree tear, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. 
That being said, if I had say, a 20 hour labor- I’d want the meds, good lord… I’d want the meds

I wanted to try no pain meds but after being induced for 12 hours with absolutely 0 dilation I needed something to help me sleep (hello morphine, sweet sweet morphine). My induction took 3 days in total so let’s just say I took every drug in the book (gas, morphine, fentanyl, and eventually an epidural). If I had gone into labour naturally I’d like to think I could have done it without the drugs but I have no regrets about how it played out! And I’m very proud of the first 12 hours I went with no drugs.

My first was a c-section and my second was a VBAC with epidural.
