how far along where you when you started anything in your nursery?

I really want to start I'm a day away from being 23 weeks and I'm just getting anxious about everything. people keep telling me it's too early to buy anything and my SO says he just gets over emotionalish when he really starts to think about it so when were looking at stuff he cant take it seriously.

I just really hate doing things last minute but I also want his help in choosing things sometimes. even just making a registry. but then again I still don't even know if I want a baby shower which is also stressing me out. but I have no friends and I just dont see it going well.

any advice for me ? 😅😅 I can use whatever you got !
