My 16 month old says the basics Mom, Dad, Bye, And also Baby talks a lot also makes some animal noises. And he understand what we say to him. He also points at things and makes it known when he wants something. He is good at separating and matching colors. So I am in no way rushing for him to speak or anything. I know when he wants to speak he will. I was just curious about when your toddlers started saying more than just the basics? Like started to actually expand their vocabulary?
