Need answers!! Has this happened to any of you!??

Question

I’m 22 weeks pregnant, and I just started getting this feeling today, and it’s my first pregnancy so I have thousands of questions! It’s in my upper stomach just below the middle of my boobs, and its a fast movement almost like a muscle spasm, lt last for about 10 seconds and goes always then comes back! I have no idea what it is, I’ve tried to search it up but I can’t find anything about it! Any one have this before??

It sounds like your diaphragm. As everything gets crowded in there, you need to breathe deep. Imagine breathing into your bikini line and focus on sending the breath down there. This will help uncramp the diaphragm and I find that it naturally improves my posture too. If I breath deep, I’m less likely to hunch or waddle or any of the things that you aren’t supposed to do. Also, if you are at home, lay on your back in the “Happy Baby” pose from yoga and focus on breathing into your vagina and pelvic floor. This helps tone and relax your pelvic floor in the same way that you will want to relax and open it in early labor.
